Miss K | Sultry Boudoir Session in Charleston

This summer, I went back to Charlotte for a day and got to photograph four amazing women! Miss K was one of those women, and I’m beyond excited to share some of our favorites from her session. But first, here is what she had to say about her experience with us:

1. Why did you decide to do a boudoir session?

“I discovered Bella Nova on Instagram and was obsessed with the style. I was struggling with body image, but I knew that it was something that I (and my then fiance) would enjoy doing and felt it would help with my confidence level. So...we decided to budget it in with our wedding and honeymoon.”

2. How were you feeling leading up to your session?

“I was very nervous leading up to my session. The regular emails from Bella Nova helped to calm my nerves as it provided me with relevant information and tips. I obtained SO many outfit options that I couldn't even decide on which ones to take.. so... I took them all and let Yessica pick her favs.”

3. How were you feeling during your session and also after seeing your images?

“Once I began to work with Yessica, I became really relaxed. She did an amazing job communicating and providing suggestions in reference to what the best outfit options would be. During the shoot, she provided step by step guidance on body positioning and assisted when needed. Upon viewing the images, I was in awe. I couldn't believe that it was me in the photos. The experience, the confidence built, and the final results were well worth the time and money.”
